Operation Round Up® was founded by Palmetto Electric in 1989 as a way in which to help the less fortunate in their community.
The mission of the Caddo Electric Foundation shall be the accumulation and disbursement of funds for charitable purposes in the service area of the Caddo Electric Cooperative.
This shall be accomplished by disbursement of funds to individuals and organizations for food, shelter, clothing, health needs and education.
How does this work?
Operation Round Up® is just what its name implies. Each month, the electric cooperative simply "rounds up" the electric bills of participating members to the next highest dollar.
Member's monthly bill: $63.72
Rounded up: $64.00
.28 cents going to the Operation Round Up® Fund*
*Donations are tax deductible, and members are sent a summary of their yearly contributions each January and February.
Caddo Electric Cooperative members can volunteer to participate in Operation Round Up® or receive more information by calling 405-656-2322.
